What is cyberfeminism?
Cyberfeminism is a very interesting term for discussing and thinking.
The term cyberfeminism was coined by VNS Matrix (read Venus Matrix), an ustralian artist collective active between 1991 and 1997, who, inspired by Donna Haraway's Cyborg Manifesto, wrote the Cyberfeminist Manifesto for the 21st Century.
Cyberfeminism is a feminist approach which foregrounds the relationship between cyberspace, the Internet, and technology. It can be used to refer to a philosophy, methodology or community.
Kirti Sharma: How to keep human bias out of AI?
Robin Hauser: Can we protect AI from our biases?
Experience
Kriti mentioned when she first applied for AI she received comments and queries. It’s about gender biases. As we all know today is world of digitalization but even in today's time the female doesn’t use social media platform because she doesn’t won’t to face any hurdles in her life and even if they use they try to hide their identities because of fear.
There is some fear in our self but slowly and steadily we overcome our fear. For example Instagram or Facebook we keep our profile lock because we have fear something may go wrong with us then? What is happen ?etc .Cyberfeminism is a very interesting term for discussing and thinking.
